Independent presidential candidate Călin Georgescu, the principal threat to the globalist establishment in Romania, was pulled over in traffic this morning and arrested by Romanian authorities. He was then taken to the Prosecutor General’s Office after prosecutors implemented a warrant for his arrest.
Călin Georgescu condemned the abuses committed by the authorities against his collaborators, declaring on Facebook, “The communist-Bolshevik system continues its odious abuses! Today, at 6 am, they descended again on families in dozens of locations, waking children from their sleep. They are looking to invent evidence to justify the theft of the elections and to do anything to block my new candidacy for the presidency. They have been searching for three months without success. I, on behalf of my voters, but also of those who, although they have other political options, want a democratic and free Romania – am fighting this security system that wants us in slavery. We live under communism, there is nothing free and legal in everything that happens. I will not give in, I rely on your support, everyone’s, and I am waiting for you on Saturday, in Victory Square!”
The investigation by the desperate globalist authorities is focused on the financing of Georgescu’s 2024 electoral campaign. After the detention of Călin Georgescu, the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians announced that all of its members, led by party leader George Simion, are leaving Parliament and going to the Prosecutor’s Office, “to demand explanations.”
On the same day, in the morning, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced searches in several localities in the country, regarding a file that targets crimes, including actions against the constitutional order, false statements regarding the sources of financing of the electoral campaign, public incitement, initiation or establishment of an organization with a fascist, racist or xenophobic character and failure to comply with the weapons and ammunition regime.
An Attorney for Georgescu, Toni Neacșu reacted harshly to this information: “If it’s true that Georgescu was pulled over in traffic and taken to the Prosecutor’s Office, they’re throwing the country into chaos. That's not how investigations are done. Not demonstratively, not provocatively, not with sirens and trumpets. A victimization was all that was missing for the menu to be complete.”
Clearly a desperate globalist Romanian regime is pulling out all stops to cling to power and it is resisting overtures from the Trump administration which has been critical of Romania’s slide into dictatorship. The regime in Bucharest is clearly still carry out orders from Brussels and the U.S. Democrat party. It is time that the new U.S. administration takes harsh action against the sabotaging of the democratic process in Romania.
