The results of the first round of Romania’s presidential election on Sunday sent shockwaves through the political world as the globalist establishment scrambles to save itself from complete annihilation. In a result that no one expected, a political newcomer and staunch anti-globalist, Călin Georgescu, finished in first place, ahead of globalist candidate Elena Lasconi who edged out the Social Democrat frontrunner Marcel Ciolacu by a couple of throusand votes.

The results of the election reported as follows:

With other candidates garnering less that 5 % of the vote.

    Călin Georgescu – 22,94%
    Elena Lasconi – 19,18%
    Marcel Ciolacu – 19,15%
    George Simion – 13,86%
    Nicolae Ciucă – 8,79%
    Mircea Geoană – 6,32%

No one expected Călin Georgescu to qualify for the second round and it has the globalist establishment in Romania in a panic. Current President Klaus Iohannis, a tool of the international globalist establishment, has convoked the Supreme Council for National Defense to consider annulling the election altogether for “irregularities” and holding a do-over.

Georgescu addressed the public after his stunning victory on Sunday, telling Romanian voters: "I thank the Romanian people for their effort, sacrifice and responsibility. I also thank you for the awakening of conscience which was and is phenomenal. Thank you for answering my call because, as I said, we were not and are not in an electoral campaign, we are a work within a work with each other and all of us with God the 35 years of economic insecurity imposed on the Romanian people has today transformed into insecurity for political parties. This evening, the Romanian people cried out "peace" and cried out very loudly, extremely loudly. If the political parties had had little time to listen and less time to speak, perhaps this cry would not have been so loud. This cry for peace was not a cry of joy, but a cry of suffering. I want this to be very clearly and very precisely emphasized. This Sunday, the 30th after Pentecost, is the parable of the rich young man in the Orthodox Church. At the liturgy the essence is the following: no matter how rich you are, you are in vain if you do not have God. The Romanian people have passed through the eye of the needle today, and the oligarchic system has not. In other words, the rich of the system, today, in Romania, have become poorer, and the people, the poor Romanian people, have become richer from this point of view. Everything that happened today, we say, is an astonishing awakening of conscience for what happened in the history of this people and at the same time, everything that happened to us, whether it was good or wrong, matters that we must understand, to be responsible, nothing else. We have a duty to rebuild Romania and that is the most important thing. No matter what happened, the Romanian people understood that through the family, the backbone of Romanian society and no matter what happens to the small family and me, personally, the big family that means my people, no matter who voted for me or who did not, I will respect them, I will help them and I will encourage everyone. Through courage, we wrote and the history of the Romanian people was written, and today, through the burning candle of hope, the courage to be Romanian has been reborn. This is the most important thing I say tonight, because the Romanian people have chosen not to kneel, not to be invaded, not to be oppressed, not to be humiliated. We are strong, we are brave. There were many of us at the polls and there will also be many at the polls in the second round. I thank everyone, we await with confidence and devotion all that the Romanian people have written in history and at this moment it is clear that we all said: we do not do politics, we do history. Thank you all”.

If the authorities allow for the second round to proceed, on December 8 Georgescu will face Lasconi in an election that could cause a political earthquake on the old continent.

Although the establishment is fast at work calling Georgescu a tool of Putin, an extremist, etc. the novice politician is receiving support from important leaders such as former tennis great and current businessman, Ion Țiriac, who said, “I would like a president who would go to Brussels and stand straight, not on his knees, and tell those who are associated with us in the EU, who we were, who we should be and who we can be.” George Simion, leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, has also announced his support for Georgescu.
