The Constitutional Court of Romania, a tool of the globalist establishment, has CANCELLED the first round of the presidential election. This decision by politically appointed bureaucrats effectively ends democracy in the frail Balkan country known for its corruption.
The leader of the main patriotic opposition party, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), George Simion said that the Constitutional Court has thrown the country into chaos and has essentially initiated a ‘coup d’état’to prevent the overthrow of the globalist establishment.
Simion declared that there is a “Coup d’état in full swing! Nine politically appointed judges at the Constitutional Court have decided to cancel the will of the Romanians, scared that a candidate from outside the system had every chance of becoming the president of Romania! What is happening at this moment is unprecedented.”
“The same Constitutional Court, just a few days ago, validated the same electoral process! And today, since the early hours of the morning, Romanians in the diaspora have been exercising their right to vote for the second round. We appeal for calm! People must not act violently. This abuse must be democratically penalized, by citizens! We are waiting for the court’s reasoning, but at this point we can no longer talk about democracy in Romania, but about a state captured by the interests of groups guided from elsewhere. We are not giving up! We will fight until the end!”
The decision comes two days before the second round of the election, in which independent candidate Călin Georgescu and the globalist USR candidate Elena Lasconi were set to face off, and in conditions in which the diaspora is already voting.
“The Court annuls, pursuant to Article 146, letter f of the Constitution, the entire electoral process, regarding the election of the President of Romania.” The government will now set a new date for the elections, and the electoral process will be resumed in its entirety, the Court also said in a press release made public on December 6, 2024, at 3 p.m.
The Biden Administration had gone all in on support for the globalist candidate Lasconi and there is reason to suspect that the U.S. Embassy weighed in on the decision to cancel the election when it appeared that Lasconi was likely to lose to the anti-globalist candidate Georgescu. It will remain to be seen if the incoming Trump Administration will impose sanctions on Romania for its anti-democratic behavior. The fact that the same court had already validated the result of the first round of the election makes it clear that it now succumbed to orders from outside the country. Sadly, it is another sign that Romania is no longer an independent nation but merely a puppet state of the globalist establishment.
