With the center-right opposition party Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) leading in the polls and elections fast approaching, the globalist state authorities of the ruling coalition are taking legal actions to try to stifle their opponents.
The head of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), Toni Greblă, announced that he ordered an audit of AUR’s finances following reports in the media regarding the way in which the party’s revenues are obtained and the way in which the AUR spent its resources. Greblă, is former Social Democratic Party (PSD) member of parliament and former PSD prefect. He became the president of AEP with the support of the ruling globalist parties PSD and the National Liberal Party (PNL) in Parliament.
“We’re #1 and everyone wants to tear us down,” AUR President George Simion declared on Facebook. He stated several times in the last week that his party is “hounded” by the authorities who are seeking to undermine democracy in Romania.
AUR Vice-President Marius Lulea told reporters that the party has no fears regarding the audit by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), stating that for any major purchases AUR consulted the AEP in advance.
