Milorad Dodik, president of Republika Srpska, praised recent statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that he supports the policies of Republika Srpska and that the interests of Republika Srpska and Russia overlap.
The President of Republika Srpska said that “Bosnia and Herzegovina is unsustainable and completely unable to exist. Throughout history neither Austria-Hungary, nor the king, nor Tito, nor six high representatives have succeeded in uniting the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it cannot be a state. There are no elements to sustain it.”
“The only nation that can create a state is the Serbian nation,” Dodik asserted in an interview on Happy Television. “And we show the through Republika Srpska. If Bosnia and Herzegovina were to disintegrate at this moment, nothing would exist except Republika Srpska. We would continue to live as an independent country the next day. They would all fall, there would be no cantons, Muslims and Croats would have to separate.”
He assessed that “all Muslim Bosniak parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina have the same goal – unifying and centralizing power in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which implies the centralization of all power in Sarajevo, from where 156,000 Serbs were expelled and who did not return and left behind a fortune of more than 80 billion dollars.”
“And all our problem with the West is that the West thinks that we should accept it, that we are guilty throughout history, and their history only goes back to the guilt they attribute to us for the year 1992,” Dodik added. “We did not break Yugoslavia.”
Dodik said that the constant effort to declare the Serbs fascist and genocidal is because in doing this German history can be whitewashed and that a British resolution to this effect would have been passed in the UN Security Council had Russia not prevented it.
The President of Republika Srpska said that he has no communication with the American ambassador in Sarajevo, Michael Murphy, a political agent of the Biden Administration. “We said when someone else comes from America who wants to talk to us, and not make decisions for us, we will talk.” Dodik said that while America is still strong and that confrontation with it should be avoided, America is not what it used to be either.
Speaking about the European Union, Dodik stated that Europe today is dominated by the Greens, which are subordinate to the American administration, and they have only one global interest, to prevent a rapprochement between Europe and Russia.
