Backed by the Biden Administration, the U.N. General Assembly voted to establish an annual day of remembrance for the 1995 Srebrenica genocide, widely seen as a slap in the face to Serbia and all Serbs across the globe. The resolution drafted by Germany and Rwanda– countries guilty of genocide who should be the last to accuse others – at the behest of the U.S. State Department on Thursday received 84 votes in favor, 19 against, with 68 abstentions, with 22 countries refusing to participate in the vote. Under the anti-democratic rules of the U.N., the resolution passed, making July 11 “International Day of Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide,” despite the fact that only 43% of member nations supported it. The resolution is a clear effort by the Biden Administration to drive Serbia into the arms of Russia and to provoke a new Balkan War.
Responding to the vote, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin declared, “For us Serbs, this is a day of pride and the day and which we should align our policy with the results of the vote. Everyone told us what they thought about us, we, the Serbs chose our friends, but our enemies chose us too…”
Vulin added, “You were looking for a fox but you found a wolf. Germany, the U.S. and their colonies thought that the Serbs were easy prey. I expected the countries that fought against the Serbs to know us better and appreciate us more. They showed force, but they did not kill the truth. More U.N. member states did not support the resolution than those who did… this is a victory for Serbia, its sincere friends, and a victory for the incredible persistence and ironclad will of the President of all Serbs, Aleksandar Vučić.”
Following the vote in the General Assembly, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić told reporters, “The result is as follows. 84 countries voted for the resolution. In any national parliament, such an act would not succeed. This is the only place in the world where such a document was passed. People cited the contribution of the amendment, and that contributed only to greater confusion. They wanted to mislead some member states about the legal nature of this issue.”
“I want to say that those people who wanted to stigmatize the Serbian people failed and will never succeed. They wanted to put a mark on our foreheads and they failed,” Vučić continued. “We went through the most difficult wars in history and we suffered the most as a nation, and I can assure you that starting tomorrow we will start a dialogue with our Bosniak compatriots. We will not only maintain the peace and stability of my country, but we will work to develop peace. Many thanks to all those who did not vote, and those who voted opened their eyes. Many thanks to the Serbian people who were more united than ever. Nothing could have united the Serbian people better than what happened here.”
The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, responding to the adoption of the resolution on Srebrenica said, “Close to 110 countries did not vote or were against or abstained. This is a failed resolution and that means the UN did not support it. Their plan to impose genocide and moral disqualification on Serbs failed.”
Dodik added that “the Americans will say that 84 votes ‘for’ are enough, but according to what principle it is enough. Is it democratic? Well, in the West, we are taught that the democratic majority is the one that is more than half of the total number. They don't have it. Why are they lying.”
The resolution, orchestrated by the Biden Administration at its globalist puppet regime in Berlin, is designed to push Serbia into the arms of Russia, which opposed the resolution, and to ignite tensions in the Balkans. By dredging up tragedies from thirty years ago, the likelihood of a new Balkan War is now higher than at any other time in the past two decades.
