The President of Republika Srpska, one of the two autonomous entities that comprise Bosnia, blasted Michael Murphy, U.S. Ambasaador ro Bosnia, for blatantly interfering in the internal affairs of his country and working t undermine the Dayton Peace Accord that ended the country’s bloody civil war in 1995.
“The Serbian people and the Republic of Srpska are grateful to the American people for the assistance they provided after the end of the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
“But I don’t see Murphy having anything to do with it. With his behavior, he has done everything to make life worse for all citizens, both in Republika Srpska and in Bosnia,” Dodik said.
He adds that Murphy is a “disgrace” to the American people.
“He has brought many evils upon this country, at the same time shaping the opinions of the American people.”
Dodik also suggested that he has seen reports that the American Ambassador is taking bribes from the Muslim side in Bosnia, but he offered no evidence to substantiate the claim.
