The president of Bulgaria’s leading opposition party Vazrazhdane, Kostadin Kostadinov, announced that his party has submitted, for the third time, a proposal to hold a referendum on the adoption of the Euro in Bulgaria.

“Today we are submitting the proposal to hold a referendum to preserve the lev for the third time in a row in a third consecutive parliament. It is clear what will happen during the vote in the hall, because it has already happened twice – the Janissaries will reject it,” Kostadinov declared.

Vazrazhdane has submitted to the Speaker of the National Assembly a proposal to hold a national referendum to vote on the following question: “Do you agree that the Bulgarian lev should be the only official currency in Bulgaria until 2043?”

“We propose, on the basis of Art. 84, item 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, that the National Assembly adopt a decision to hold a national referendum on the above-mentioned issue. We recall that according to the current laws, the National Assembly does not have the right to reject the holding of a referendum.”

The Bulgarian globalists, showing their disdain for democracy, have repeatedly defied allowing any consultation of the Bulgarian people concerning the country's currency.
