As previously reported by The Balkan, Bulgaria and Romania both agreed to accept large numbers of illegal migrants into their countries in exchange for partial acceptance into the Schengen treaty. The move not only will undermine the sovereignty of those countries and make them dumping grounds for Middle Eastern and African migrants not wanted in Germany and other western countries but will also threaten the security of their populations.

The process began earlier last month when the Bavarian State Office for Asylum and Repatriations (LfAR) issued a press release:

“On February 8, 2024, a small charter organized by the Bavarian State Office for Asylum and Repatriations (LfAR) and accompanied by the Federal Police took off from Munich Airport to Sofia, Bulgaria, with 23 people required to leave the country.

“Among those repatriated were six people who had been legally convicted of, among other things, murder, manslaughter, grievous bodily harm, sexual offenses, aggravated robbery and money laundering.

“It was and is important to the State Office for Asylum and Repatriation at all times to give priority to returning criminals who are required to leave the country.”

Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Korneliya Ninova raised the issue in parliament on Friday, saying that “the Bulgarian government and this majority are turning Bulgaria into a punitive colony for murderers, rapists, and money launderers.” She said that “the cost of the half-Schengen” will be to make Bulgaria into "a haven for criminals."

Ninova added that “Austria started it all and now Germany follows suit. Bulgaria cannot be a ghetto for criminals and murders from Afghanistan and Syria and we want this to stop!"

Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov claimed that the six “migrants” are Bulgarian citizens, born in Bulgaria and with Bulgarian names, but Ninova claims that they are Syrians who acquired Bulgarian citizenship. The other 18 people sent back by Germany are Syrian nationals.

He says there: "The said Syrian citizens have been granted international protection in Bulgaria over the years, giving them the right to reside on the territory of this country.

Even former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the leader of GERB, one of the partners in the globalist coalition ruling Bulgaria seemed disturbed by the news. “If it is true, we must immediately deport those people who came – as I did three years ago... when a similar plane with those convicted by the German government for murder, robbery, rape, and others arrived in Bulgaria...” Borisov declared. “If it is true, we must immediately reload the plane and send them back to where they came from, or return to Germany to lie in German prisons and serve their sentences.”
